Here’s what Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had to say about the Cardinals:

Q: What do you see on film from the Cardinals’ young secondary?

A: "Yeah, I mean they're young in the secondary, for sure, but they're veterans at their outside linebacker position and in their sub-defense, their defensive end positions. Their edge players are guys that have been productive in this league for a long time and are disruptive with what they do."

Q: Are you talking about Chandler Jones, et al.?

A: "We've got to account for those guys. We've got to do a great job, both in the run game and in pass protection, of making sure we're locating where they're at. We feel like we've got talented guys on the outside that are capable of making plays. In this league, it comes down to being physical at the line of scrimmage and that's going to be a key for us this week."

Q: Can Terrell Suggs still bring it off the edge?

A: "He's still productive. He's been a hell of a player his entire career. Transitioning from Baltimore to here, similar type scheme in that they put him in a 3-4 system in base and he can play that outside linebacker position and defensive end in their nickel packages. He's just a great football player."
