Falcons offensive lineman Wes Schweitzer, who’s in a battle to retain his starting right guard spot, hosted a group of teammates during the offseason.

While quarterback Matt Ryan and a group of wide receivers went to California to work out, Schweitzer had a group of linemen staying at his house.

“Wes Schweitzer was the one that really set it off in terms of (saying), ‘we are staying here to train,’’ Falcons coach Dan Quinn said. “He had a bunch of guys living with him. They went real old school, training and working out. I really admired (that). He was the leader of that.”
