Nearly one week after the 2018 NFL Draft began, five former Georgia players were named to the NFL.com's list of "Top 100 NFL Rookies of 2018."

Ranked highest on NFL.com reporter Chase Goodbread’s prediction list was Chicago Bears linebacker Roquan Smith at No. 5.

Smith, the 2017 SEC Championship MVP, was selected with the eighth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

“Where better than the Chicago Bears for the Butkus Award winner?” Goodbread wrote. “Along with the talent of the draft's best linebacker, Smith will bring a Butkus-like edge to that defense.”

Also listed on Goodbread’s prediction list of NFL rookies were running back Sony Michel (No. 36), offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn (No. 43), running back Nick Chubb (No. 53) and linebacker Lorenzo Carter (No. 87).

The full list of the NFL's top rookies of 2018 can be read on the NFL's official website.
