7 first-year NFL officials to debut in 2018

Out of the 121 officials working NFL games this season, there will be seven first-year officials, according to the NFL officiating roster released this week.

Side judge Chad Hill, field judge Anthony Jeffries and back judge Tony Josselyn come to the NFL after officiation in the SEC, according to Pro Football Talk.

Two other officials come from the Big 10, one from the Pac-12 and one from the Big 12.
