Fans react: Matt Adams’ leaves game with foot contusion, status is day-to-day

One game after Atlanta Braves catcher Tyler Flowers was hit by a pitch on his forearm and left the game, first baseman Matt Adams’s foot was hit by a pitch during Thursday night’s game against the San Diego Padres.
After being hit in the left foot and shin in the second inning, Adams left the game with a foot contusion and was replaced at first base by Jace Peterson.
The Braves reported X-rays were negative and Adams’ status was day-to-day.

If Adams is out for a bit maybe get that Freeman kid a first baseman's mitt and see what he can do?

I'm just glad it's not serious. We don't need any more injuries.
