One game after Atlanta Braves catcher Tyler Flowers was hit by a pitch on his forearm and left the game, first baseman Matt Adams’s foot was hit by a pitch during Thursday night’s game against the San Diego Padres.

After being hit in the left foot and shin in the second inning, Adams left the game with a foot contusion and was replaced at first base by Jace Peterson.

The Braves reported X-rays were negative and Adams’ status was day-to-day.

With Freddie Freeman close to his rehab assignment and Flowers hit by a pitch on Wednesday, fans took to social media to express their frustration.
