Fans react: Ozzie Albies will be in uniform Tuesday vs. Dodgers

Gwinnett Braves infielder Ozzie Albies will be in uniform with the big-league club Tuesday as the Atlanta Braves take on the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The 20-year-old Albies, who will be the youngest player in the majors, was batting .285 with eight triples and nine home runs in 97 games for Gwinnett. The switch hitter had 21 stolen bases in 23 attempts.

Albies and former Gwinnett teammate and pitcher Lucas Sims have been promoted by the organization withing the last 24 hours. The Braves announced on Monday Sims would make his major league debut on Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Albies and Sims were promoted after shortstop Dansby Swanson and pitcher Aaron Blair were optioned to Gwinnett on July 26.
