During Sunday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons outside linebacker Vic Beasley suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to miss a month.

Beasley recorded two tackles, one sack and a forced fumble in the Falcons’ 34-23 win over the Packers.

Beasley, the eighth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, was expected to be a leader on the Falcons’ defense this season after the team did not resign pass rusher Dwight Freeney.

Last season, Beasley was named the NFL sack leader after recording 15.5 sacks.
