Fans react to Braves not acquiring Sonny Gray

The Major League Baseball trade deadline is Monday by 4 P.M., and the Braves were rumored to be after Athletics’ Sonny Gray.
In Braves’ fashion, the rumored deal came down to the last hour, but the New York Yankees acquired Gray. Fans took to Twitter to let off some steam:
Now I'm pissed. Braves could have easily swung a deal without unloading top prospects apparently https://t.co/fhSEhaH1Cr

@Braves guess were just riding this season out. No moves. And were bout to get swept by the worst team in bb. Great

Sux for the @Braves. Good pickup for the @Yankees. We will as usual sit on our hands and do nothing.

By the braves not doing anything it shows they don't care about their fans.

Some fans were surprisingly happy about the no-deal:
Thanks god the #Braves stayed away from this trade.

Not worth what you would have to give up for the Braves, patience, help is on the way from down on the farm.

Braves did the right thing.

Bravo.
And one fan pointed out something else:
For what it's worth, the #Braves have not won a game since Dansby Swanson got demoted.

Do with that information what you will.
