After a season-ending shoulder injury, Falcons’ cornerback Desmond Trufant tweeted out a promise to have a “comeback season” this year.

Coach Dan Quinn expects Trufant to be healthy in late-July for Falcons' training camp, although the Pro-Bowl cornerback won't participate in offseason OTAs.

Trufant finished the 2016 season with 31 combined tackles, two sacks, four deflected passes and one interception before his injury. Trufant left the Falcons’ Nov. 3 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a shoulder injury.
