Falcons coach Dan Quinn won the Coach of the Year award at the Atlanta Sports Awards ceremony Thursday night.

Mike Budenholzer of the Atlanta Hawks and McEachern High School women’s basketball coach Phyliss Arthur were the other two nominees.

Former Falcons coach Dan Reeves presented the award.

Quinn led the Falcons to their first Super Bowl berth since 1999 in his second season as a head coach.

“We have a standard, Quinn said after receiving his award. “I do my job so my brother can do his. And my brother does his job so I can do my own.”
