• What you might not know about Tennessee Tech: It has clinched the "Sgt. York Trophy," given each year to the OVC's Tennessee school with the best record against in-state league members. Tech is 3-0 this season against Austin Peay, UT Martin and Tennessee State.
• Coach: Watson Brown, 106-170-1 in 25 years as a college head coach, including 13-18 in three years at Tennessee Tech. He also has been head coach at Austin Peay, Cincinnati, Rice, Vanderbilt and UAB. His career coaching record vs. Georgia is 0-6.
