It's official -- Georgia will wear black jerseys in Saturday's home game against Louisiana-Lafayette.

The Georgia football twitter account announced that the team will wear black jerseys for the Saturday noon kickoff against the Ragin' Cajuns. It will be the first time Georgia has worn black jerseys since its home game against Alabama during the 2008 regular season.

Georgia wore black jerseys in its 41-10 victory over Hawaii in the 2008 Sugar Bowl, capping the 2007 season where UGA finished 11-2 and ranked No. 2 in the nation.
