Georgia teammates Aaron Murray and Justin Scott-Wesley both underwent surgeries Tuesday to repair ACL injuries, according to Ron Courson, the UGA Sr. Associate Athletic Director and Director of Sports Medicine.

Both surgeries were performed by orthopedic consultants at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens.

Murray, a senior quarterback, injured his left knee Saturday in Georgia’s victory against Kentucky. Scott-Wesley, a redshirt sophomore wide receiver who was injured Oct. 5 in a game at Tennessee, has had surgeries in stages. He underwent a meniscal repair on his right knee first a few weeks ago, and then had the ACL surgery in the knee on Tuesday.

Both players will begin rehabilitation soon and a full recovery is expected for both, Courson said.
