There's good news for Georgia fans who want to watch the Bulldogs and LSU in the Georgia Dome Saturday night. Ticket prices for the SEC Championship Game are falling on the secondary ticket market -- unless you're looking for a luxury suite.

"We've actually seen a fairly dramatic decline in ticket prices to the game ... within the last week," said Will Flaherty, spokesman for SeatGeek.com, a ticket search aggregator.

Flaherty said ticket prices have been dropping steadily since peaking at an average $463 on Nov. 20,  falling to an average of $135 on Wednesday. The most dramatic one-day drop -- 25 percent -- occurred between Saturday and Sunday after LSU and Georgia clinched spots in the title game, he said.

The reason for the decline in prices is unclear, Flaherty said, although it's possible that Alabama fans may have bought up tickets before the LSU-Arkansas game, hoping that the Tigers would lose and send the Tide into the championship game. When LSU won, the Alabama fans may have flooded the market with their tickets.

The cheapest ticket on SeatGeek at mid-day Wednesday was a $108 seat in Section 332 in the upper deck of the Georgia Dome, while the most expensive was a $19,153 listing for a luxury suite, Flaherty said.

TiqIQ , another search site, said tickets for this year's game are averaging more than 20 percent lass than last year's SEC title game between Auburn and South Carolina and more than 40 percent less than this year's regular season game between Alabama and LSU.

Kickoff is at 4 p.m. Saturday. The game is televised on CBS.
