Georgia Tech’s spring game is scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The game will be preceded by a festival outside the stadium starting at 5 p.m. The festival will include food trucks, inflatables and a concert by The Van Lears, a country duo from northwest Georgia. Game admission is free.

Weather permitting, a fireworks display will follow the game. This will be the fourth year that the game will be held on a Friday night as opposed to the standard Saturday afternoon slot. Weather has been troublesome the past two years, with last year’s game played in a downpour.

As of Saturday, the forecast for Friday night on the Weather Channel website: Thunderstorms in the evening, low near 55.
