Georgia Tech commit Jaytlin Askew and the McEachern High School Indians will play in the second round of the Georgia High School Football Playoff on Friday night against Parkview High School.

McEachern (10-1) eliminated Lassiter High School (6-5) last Friday 35-10 at McEachern High School in Marietta, Ga. in the first round of playoffs. The winner of Friday’s playoff game will play the winner of the Cherokee High School vs. Mill Creek High School game on Nov. 25.

“Parkview is a good team,” Askew said. “They made it to the second round playoffs for a reason, so we’re going to treat it like a state championship game. We’re not going to come in over looking them or with a big head. We’re coming in humble and ready to battle four quarters. We’re blessed to have made it this far and we’re going to take advantage of every opportunity given to us.”

Askew, a 3-star cornerback, committed to Tech in June and will be enrolling early in January.

McEachern and Parkview (8-3) will kick off the second round of Class AAAAAAA Playoffs from McEachern High School at 7:30 and can be live streamed on the NFHS Network.
