SEC players on award watch lists

Beginning in 2015, The Home Depot College Football Awards will have a new home at the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience in downtown Atlanta. A look at the Southeastern Conference players on watch lists for each major individual college football award.

The Maxwell Award is presented to "player of the year" in college football. Though last year's Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariotta won the Maxwell, the awards do not share a similarity in candidates. More than 50 players top this year's list. Among the SEC contenders are: Nick Chubb, Georgia
