Mark Price, a four-time All ACC basketball player, was coached by Bobby Cremins, He helped lead the Yellow Jackets to an ACC Championship his junior year.

Mark Price was named the ACC Most Valuable Player for the 1984–85 season. The Yellow Jackets were the regional runner-up losing to Patrick Ewing's top-seeded Georgetown Hoyas in the Elite Eight at the Providence, R.I., Civic center. Price's Tech jersey has been retired.

Mark Price was a second-round pick in 1986. He spent nine seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, setting the team's record for assists (4,206) and steals (734). Both franchise marks have since been surpassed by LeBron James. His No. 25 has been retired by the Cavs.

After leaving the Cavaliers in 1995, Mark Price spent time with the Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors and Orlando Magic. He was a four-time All-Star and a two-time NBA 3-Point Shootout Champion.

Mark Price, listed at 6 feet, played for the U.S. national team - also known as Dream Team II - in the 1994 FIBA World Championship, winning the gold medal.

Mark Price spent one season as an assistant college coach, at Georgia Tech under Bobby Cremins in 1999-2000.

Mark Price's only prior head coaching experience came at the high school level at Whitefield Academy after he left Georgia Tech sidelines. He also had a short stint as head coach of Australia's South Dragons team.

Following his retirement, Mark Price spent some time as a broadcaster and in real estate. Former coach Bobby Cremins visited with Prince at the Suwanee Sports Academy where Price was an instructor focusing on improving skills in basketball.

Mark Price has held a number of NBA coaching duties, including being the Atlanta Hawks' shooting coach and most recently as a Charlotte Hornets assistant coach in 2014.
