Georgia Tech 222, Cumberland 0 (1916) - Cumberland stopped fielding a team in 1916, but Georgia Tech head coach John Heisman forced the Lebanon, Tenn., school to play the scheduled game. After one quarter, Tech led by 63 points. At halftime, the score was 126-0. There were no first downs for either team. Georgia Tech scored every time on its first, second or third play. Cumberland's longest gain was 10 yards - on a fourth-and-22. The second half, mercifully, was reduced to just 15 minutes. Final score: 222-0

Florida 58, LSU 3 (1993) -- Gators quarterback Danny Wuerffel threw four touchdowns in a meeting in Death Valley that was the most lopsided win by either team in a rivalry that dates back to 1937.

Florida State 77, North Carolina 17 (1995) -- Bobby Bowden believed it was the responsibility of the opposing team's defense to stop his teams from running up the score. The 60-point win over ACC rival Wolfpack was one the most lopsided in his long tenure in Tallahassee.

Florida 52, Georgia 17 (1995) -- Florida head coach Steve Spurrier wanted to "hang half a hundred" on the Bulldogs in Athens in 1995, when the Gators visited for the first time in 63 years. The score stands as the most points ever scored by an opposing team at Sanford Stadium.

Georgia Tech 70, Navy 7 (2001) -- The Jackets had 561 total yards of offense as they forced five turnovers and had seven players score. The Midshipmen finished the season 0-10 under coach Charlie Weatherbie. Paul Johnson was hired the following year.

West Virginia 80, Rutgers 7 (2001) -- In the midst of a four-game losing streak, the Mountaineers piled on against Big East foe the Scarlet Knights.

Oklahoma 77, Texas A&M 0 (2003) -- A year after having their title hopes dashed by Aggies, the Sooners showed some restraint in one of their largest wins in school history. Jason White accounted for five scores before halftime, and coach Bob Stoops basically admitted to having his guys avoid putting the ball in the endzone in the fourth quarter from the 3-yard line.

Georgia Southern 84, Johnson C. Smith 3 (2004) -- Georgia Southern amassed 573 yards of offense - 546 on the ground - against the historically black college from North Carolinal, which gained just 128 yards total offense.

Texas 70, Colorado 3 (2005) -- Before reaching the national championship game, the Longhorns recorded the most lopsided score of a conference championship by stomping on the Buffaloes in the Big 12 title game.

USC 69, Washington State 0 (2008) -- USC, whose defense was ranked No. 1 in the country, ended the Cougars' streak of scoring at 280 games dating to Sept. 15, 1984. USC scored its largest shutout victory since 1931.

Oklahoma State 84, Savannah State 0 (2012) -- The 19th-ranked Cowboys kicked off their season with a ridiculous 84-0 victory against Savannah State. Oklahoma State scored on its first five possessions to take a 35-0 lead late in the first quarter, needing no more than 90 seconds on any of the scoring drives.

Alabama 49, Auburn 0 (2012) -- The Crimson Tide blanked the Tigers for the most lopsided Iron Bowl in 64 years. Alabama outgained the Tigers 483-163 and had 25 first downs to Auburn's seven.
