Photos: Chubb set to pass Bo Jackson on SEC career rushing list

Georgia senior running back Nick Chubb needs 13 yards Saturday against Auburn to pass Bo Jackson and become the fourth-leading rusher in SEC history.

Georgia senior running back Nick Chubb currently stands fifth on the SEC career rushing list with 4,291 yards. With 13 yards in Saturday's game against Auburn, he would move into fourth place passing .....

.....former Auburn running back and 1985 Heisman Trophy winner Bo Jackson, who rushed for 4,303 yards from 1982-85.

Nick Chubb has a chance to leap over a couple of other running backs on the career list before the season is over.

Former LSU running back Kevin Faulk is currently third on the SEC career rushing list with 4,557 yards with .....

..... former Arkansas running back Darren McFadden second with 4,590 yards.

Chubb trails Faulk by 266 yards and McFadden by 299 yards with three regular-season games remaining -- and the possibility of two games after that.

Chubb is still nearly 1,000 yards (968 to be exact) behind the SEC's all-time leader -- former UGA star Herschel Walker.

Walker rushed for 5,259 yards during his three seasons in Athens and won the 1982 Heisman Trophy as the nation's top college player.

Herschel Walker, shown here at the UGA-Alabama game in Athens in 2015, had 336 yards in three bowl games -- yardage which was not included in his overall total. Bowl games are now included in career stats for college players.
