The U.S. U19 national team, with Georgia Tech guard Josh Okogie on the roster, will play Germany for a spot in the FIBA U19 World Cup semifinals Friday in Cairo.

The game is scheduled for 3:15 ET and can be viewed online on the FIBA website and on ESPN3.

The U.S. team is 4-0, having won its group at 3-0 and then defeated Mali in the round of 16 on Wednesday. Germany was 2-1 in group play and then defeated New Zealand in the round of 16.

While coach John Calipari has spread minutes fairly evenly, Okogie has demonstrated his all-around game. He is tied for third in rebounds at 5.8 and is fifth in assists with 2.8. He is contributing 6.8 points per game. The American team has been dominant thus far as it seeks its third consecutive World Cup championship.

The team has won its first four games by an average score of 108-62.5.

Friday’s winner will play the France-Canada winner in a Saturday semifinal. The championship game is Sunday.
