WHAT HE SAID

On what the biggest influence was in his decision to commit to Tech: "It's not really one big factor, it's a lot. (Tech is) very competitive. I've seen that over the spring. I like the academic side that sets me up for my future and overall with the football team and the coaches."

On who he's looking forward to playing with in the fall: "One commit that really tried to convince me was (Tech defensive back) Jarett Cole because we went to the same high school together, and (we) played two years together."

On the secondary recruits for the signing class of 2017: "(They have a lot of) personality in them. There are a lot of really cool people. I love them all. … We're all really close, and I think that we're going to be really close to make it there and the good thing about it is you already know somebody when you get there. That helps."
