What to know: Henderson committed to Tennessee in June, but withdrew his commitment after his official visit to Georgia Tech during the weekend of Jan. 20. Henderson was one of three recruits on their official visits to commit. Henderson chose Tech over Indiana, Michigan State, Nebraska, North Carolina and 18 others, according to 247 Sports.
WHAT HE SAID
On what it means to play at Tech: "There's nothing like playing for your home state team, and it really means a lot to me. And it's always been my goal is a little kid, it's my state. And the coaching staff, (cornerbacks coach Joe) Speed, (defensive coordinator Ted) Roof, coach (Paul) Johnson and I have a great relationship."
On if he knew before his official visit to Tech that he wanted to flip: "To be honest, from Day 1 I knew I wanted to go to Georgia Tech. I knew that I would find a way to wait for my official (visit) to flip."
On his relationship with fellow 2017 linebackers T.D. Roof and Bruce Jordan-Swilling: "I talked to (Jordan-Swilling and Roof) after I committed. We just feel like we're going to come in and play our butts off and I feel like I can play beside those guys and I know what you're capable of doing and I know what they're going to do. It means a lot to step on the field with them"
