Kennesaw State rushed for 361 yards, part of 494 total yards gained, and forced five turnovers in a 50-7 rout of Hampton on Saturday afternoon in Hampton, Va.

The Owls (9-2, 4-1 Big South) scored the first 43 points of the game, 21 in the first quarter, and six different players scored touchdowns. Quarterback Tommy Bryant rushed for 100 yards on 12 carries. Bronston Rechsteiner, Kevin Ficklin, Shaquil Terry, Kyle Glover and Bryant each scored rushing touchdowns. Glover scored two. Caleb O’Neal added a touchdown pass from Bryant.

Bryant completed two of five pass attempts, one for 66 yards to Terry and the other for 67 yards to O’Neal.

The Pirates (5-6, 1-4) totaled only 126 yards of offense, 65 passing and 61 rushing.

The Owls return home to face Gardner-Webb at 2 p.m. Saturday in their regular-season finale.
