Kennesaw State defensive back Derrick Farrow was named the Big South Conference defensive player of the week on Monday.

Farrow forced three fumbles and had five tackles in the Owls’ win over Edward Waters on Saturday.

His first forced fumble resulted in an 18-yard recovery for a touchdown. He had two on back-to-back plays in the third quarter. The second came after a 73-yard run and was recovered on the 7-yard line.

Sold out: Kennesaw State’s home game against Gardner-Webb on Oct. 17 has sold out of tickets, the athletics department announced on Monday. It’s the fourth home sellout this season. A sellout is 8,660 tickets sold.

The game against Gardner-Webb will be first Big South Conference game at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
