The New Orleans Saints made official the signing of former Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas on Wednesday afternoon, announcing the contract via news release. He joins the team as an undrafted free agent.

Thomas made the team’s 90-man offseason roster after competing for a spot in the Saints’ rookie minicamp this past weekend. Thomas worked out at cornerback and then wide receiver.

Thomas is expected to stay at wide receiver. He would be one of 12 at that position on the New Orleans roster. Of the other 11, none are draft picks this season and two others are undrafted free agents like Thomas.
