Georgia Tech will have another addition to its expansive list of players who have missed games due to injury. For the Yellow Jackets’ game against Miami on Saturday, it will be A-back Mikell Lands-Davis.

The freshman was listed as out for the game in the injury report released Thursday. The nature of the injury was undisclosed. According to Tech’s records, Lands-Davis will be the 16th player who has not played in at least one game due to injury.

Since having his redshirt burned for the North Carolina game, Lands-Davis had played in the past six games and had started three of them. He has been a part of the A-back rotation, showing playmaking ability and willingness to block.

There was a modicum of good news for Tech on the report, as linebacker P.J. Davis and safety A.J. Gray were both listed as probable. Davis left last Thursday’s Virginia Tech game with an ankle injury and did not return. He had played through pain in his ankle previously. Gray was injured in the Florida State game and had missed the past two games after playing the first eight.

Davis led the team in tackles in 2014 and is again leading this season with 65. Gray, a freshman has made great strides this season and is among the team’s better tacklers.
