Georgia Tech will debut gold jerseys designed by Adidas for its game against The Citadel on Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Tech has worn white and navy jerseys since beginning its partnership with Adidas last season. This will be the first time that Tech has worn gold jerseys since the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla., in December 2016.

The jerseys, revealed Monday evening through the team’s social-media accounts, are gold with navy numbers outlined in white. The Jackets will wear white helmets and white pants. The helmets will have gold and navy stripes down the center and a gold interlocking “GT” logo on the sides.

It is the fifth jersey that Adidas has created for Tech. Two are white, one with gold numbers and the other with navy, one is navy and the fourth is an onyx-gray jersey that the Yellow Jackets will wear in the Oct. 5 game against North Carolina. The design of that jersey will honor patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
