Georgia Tech’s home game against Virginia Tech on November 16 will kick off at 3:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on regional sports networks, including Fox Sports Southeast in Atlanta.

It will be the fifth time this season that the Yellow Jackets will play on regional sports networks. It will also be the fourth home game out of five that the kickoff will not be in the noon hour. Only Tech’s September 14 game against The Citadel started in the early time slot, at 12:35 p.m.

For a number of years, many Tech fans were frustrated by a preponderance of home games that were assigned noon or 12:30 p.m. kickoff times, as it limited tailgating time and, for early-season games, typically meant hotter temperatures.

Tech plays at Virginia Saturday in a 12:30 p.m. game that will also be aired on regional sports networks.
