Georgia Tech will face Notre Dame to open the ACC tournament.

The Fighting Irish lost to Pitt 56-53 on Saturday to fall into the 15th and final seed for the tournament, which begins Tuesday in Charlotte, N.C.

The Yellow Jackets secured the No. 10 seed after Miami’s loss to Virginia Tech on Friday night. The Jackets and the Irish will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the game televised on the Raycom Sports Network (Peachtree TV in the Atlanta market) in the ACC TV footprint. The game will be televised on an ESPN network outside the ACC footprint.

Tech (14-17, 6-12 ACC) and Notre Dame (13-18, 3-15) split their two matchups this season. The Jackets won 63-61 on Jan. 22 at McCamish Pavilion, and the Irish won 69-59 on Feb. 10 in South Bend, Ind.

The full bracket for the 15-man field will be determined Saturday night.
