Georgia Tech followed its shocking loss against The Citadel, an FCS school, three weeks ago with a 24-2 loss to Temple last week.
Temple looked tepid at best, but won by 22 points, so this is a big Saturday for the Yellow Jackets. North Carolina comes in fresh off a near-upset of then-No. 1 Clemson, losing 21-20 after a 2-point conversion attempt failed with 1:17 to play in the fourth quarter.
Tech may need the Tar Heels to come to Atlanta with a hangover from the disappointment of that loss.
