Georgia Tech and Kentucky announced Tuesday morning a two-game home-and-home arrangement for men’s basketball.

The Yellow Jackets and Wildcats will meet in Lexington on Dec. 14 of this year. The teams will meet again at State Farm Arena on Nov. 27, 2020, the day after Thanksgiving.

Tech and Kentucky, who once were rivals in the SEC, have met 71 times previously, the fifth-most meetings for the Jackets against any non-ACC opponent. The Wildcats lead the series 56-15, with Tech winning the most recent game, 86-84 on Dec. 9, 2000 at Philips Arena in Atlanta.

Tech opens its 2019-20 season at N.C. State on Nov. 5. The Jackets will play at Georgia on Nov. 20, and their non-conference schedule includes games at home against Arkansas (Nov. 25) and Nebraska (Dec. 4) and in the Diamond Head Class in Honolulu on Dec. 22-25.
