Georgia Tech has hired former Central Michigan offensive coordinator Chris Ostrowsky to serve as senior offensive adviser to coach Geoff Collins. Ostrowsky ran the Central Michigan offense for the past two years after four years as head coach at Northern Michigan 2012-16. Tech made the announcement Sunday.

In 2017, Central Michigan placed five offensive players on the All-MAC team as quarterback Shane Morris threw 27 touchdown passes, second most in school history. However, the offense tied for 83rd in 2017 in yards per play and was last in FBS in the same category in 2018. He was not hired to the staff of new head coach Jim McElwain, hired in December 2018.
