Georgia Tech’s commitment binge continued Sunday. Zeek Biggers, a defensive tackle from Mount Ulla, N.C., announced his decision to join coach Geoff Collins’ 2021 signing class, becoming the fourth prospect to commit to the class in the past two weeks.

Collins has received seven commitments total. Biggers, from West Rowan High, is listed on his 247Sports recruiting page at 6-foot-6 and 335 pounds. The heaviest player on the Tech roster is incoming grad transfer offensive lineman Devin Cochran at 320 pounds. The heaviest defensive linemen are tackles Djimon Brooks and Jahaziel Lee at 300 pounds.

Getting bigger and heavier has been a priority of Collins. On his highlight video, Biggers shows the ability to use his size to quickly collapse pockets and to move better than one might expect for someone his size, chasing plays to the perimeter. He also has the ability to play offensive line. Biggers also has played for the basketball team at West Rowan.

Biggers is a two-star prospect. By the calculation of 247Sports Composite, he is rated the No. 69 prospect in the state of North Carolina. Nationally, he is the No. 1,476 player. He had listed scholarship offers from N.C. State, Temple, Akron and Georgia State, among others.

Biggers announced his offer from Tech on Jan. 24 and tweeted photos from an unofficial visit March 13, just before the spread of the coronavirus closed campus and interrupted in-person recruiting.
