Georgia State will play Clemson in Death Valley in football in 2014.

It’s another in series of big-money, big-boy games for the Panthers, who are already scheduled to play at Washington on Sept. 20, 2014 in exchange for $900,000. The Tigers will pay the Panthers $700,000. The date of the game hasn’t been determined.

Georgia State already has games lined up this year in coach Trent Miles’ first season at West Virginia (Sept. 14) and at defending national champion Alabama (Oct. 5). Georgia State will receive guarantees totaling $1.25 million for those games.

The Panthers are also going to host Air Force in 2014 and will play at Oregon in 2015, with a guarantee of $900,000, and return to Air Force in 2016 to finish the home-and-home series.

Georgia State went 1-10 last year in former coach Bill Curry’s final season.
