Saturday’s men’s basketball game between Georgia State and Georgia Southern at the GSU Sports Arena is sold out. Tipoff is 2 p.m.

More than 3,000 tickets had been sold as of Tuesday for the game, which could decide the Sun Belt title.

Georgia State announced on Thursday just the third sell-out in the history of the arena, which has a capacity of 3,854. It is also the second sell-out in as many years, following last year’s season-finale against Western Kentucky in which the team celebrated its Sun Belt title.

The Panthers (20-9, 13-5) are at Louisiana-Monroe (19-10, 13-5) tonight in a battle of two of the three teams tied for first in the conference. The Panthers need to win just one of their two remaining games to secure a bye to the semifinals of the touranment. Winning both would secure the regular-season title and the touranment’s top seed.

Parking will be free at G Deck, which is beside the Arena, and N Deck on Saturday. G Deck opens at 7:30 a.m. and can be accessed through Collins Street or Central Avenue. N Deck opens at 6:30 a.m. and is accessible from Gilmer Street. Signage is also placed out along nearby streets to direct cars to N Deck. C Lot is also available but is permit only.
