Georgia State will play a pair of nationally televised Thursday night games on its Sun Belt Conference schedule, which was released Friday.
The Panthers, coming off their third bowl appearance in five seasons, will play at Arkansas State on Oct. 15 and at home against Coastal Carolina on Oct. 29. Both games will be shown on ESPNU.
Georgia State had two games shown on ESPNU in 2019, defeating Tennessee and losing to Appalachian State.
Georgia State opens league play at home Sept. 19 against Western Conference champion Louisiana-Lafayette. The Panthers also have conference home games against Louisiana-Monroe on Nov. 7 and rival Georgia Southern on Nov. 28.
The Panthers have additional conference road games at Troy on Oct. 24, at Sun Belt champion Appalachian State on Nov. 14 and at South Alabama on Nov. 21.
The Panthers will open the season at home Sept. 5 against Murray State before traveling to play Alabama on Sept. 12. It will be Georgia State’s third visit to Tuscaloosa and first since 2013.
Other non-conference games are Sept. 26 at Charlotte and at home on Oct. 3 against East Carolina.
Georgia State begins spring practice Monday and will play its spring game April 3.
