Georgia State running back Taz Bateman is out for the rest of the year following an injury to his forearm that was sustained in Saturday’s 34-32 win over New Mexico State.

Bateman, a sophomore, sustained the injury in the second quarter of the game. He finished with six carries for 36 yards.

In other injury updates, coach Trent Miles said that it’s highly unlikely that wide receiver Donovan Harden will return for next week’s game at Oregon. Harden, the team’s leading receiver last year, has yet to play this season after suffering a broken foot during August camp.

Center Taylor Evans (back) is week to week. He didn’t play in Saturday’s game in Las Cruces, N.M.
