Former UGA quarterback Aaron Murray got married over the weekend.

Take a wild guess on where the newlyweds tied the knot? Yes, it was in Athens, Ga. The UGA Chapel on North Campus was the location of the wedding ceremony. The couple, of course, took pictures under The Arches in the downtown area, among other scenic locations across the campus.

On the eve of the wedding, Murray posted an Instagram photo with his bride-to-be that said "Let's get MURRIED!!!"

Let's get MURRIED!!!

Aaron and his wife, the former Sharon Stufken, both attended UGA at the same time, but did not know each other in college, according to a story about the proposal.

Where did they meet? The two Bulldogs met … of all places … at a dog park: "(Aaron's dog, Georgia) ran up to Sharon's dog, Harper."

It has been a big year for Aaron. He resurrected his pro football career by starring at quarterback for the Atlanta Legends minor-league football team before the league folded. Murray also works some as a college football analyst for CBS Sports.

Despite the fact that Murray hasn’t taken a snap for UGA since 2013, he still ranks as the SEC’s all-time leader in career passing yards and career touchdown passes.
