Former Georgia Tech outfielder Brandon Thomas hit a glass-shattering homer.

The former Jacket has been spending his summer with the Gateway Grizzliers of the  independent Frontier League in Illinois.

In the second inning Sunday against the Joliet Slammers, Thomas blasted a grand slam that surpassed the outfield fence and landed right smack on the window of his pickup truck.

Thomas, who attended Pace Academy in Atlanta, was drafted in the 8th round of the 2013 baseball draft by the New York Yankees.
