Emory defeated LeTourneau University 83-82 in the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament Saturday, securing a trip to the Round of 16 for the fourth time in the last five years.

Christopher Avant had a season-high 22 points to lead five Emory players in double figures in the victory. Emory won its seventh straight, improving to 23-4 overall, and will meet University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the Sweet 16 in Rock Island, Ill.
