Football Bowl Subdivision crowds for home games averaged 43,483 fans per game, down 4 percent from 2013, according to data released by CBS Sports. The Georgia State Panthers averaged 15,006 fans at the Georgia Dome this season, ranking them 119th out of 128 schools. Here's how other schools fared:

No. 44, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets: Georgia Tech saw a 1 percent dip in its football crowds, averaging 48,519 fans in the Flats. The ACC, overall, was last among Power Five schools with average attendance of 50,016 in 2014.

No. 10, Nebraska Cornhuskers: Nebraska averaged crowds of 91,249 fans at its home games this season - one of nine 14 Big Ten schools that saw an improved attendance.

No. 9, Georgia Bulldogs: Sanford Stadium averaged 92,746 fans in 2014, nearly the same it recorded last season. Overall, SEC attendance was up 3 percent, leading the nation with an average 78,018 fans at its stadiums in 2014.

No. 8, Texas Longhorns: The Longhorns saw a 5 percent attendance drop to 94,103 in 2014. Six of 10 Big 12 schools increased crowds, but still saw its smallest attendance since 2005.

No. 7, Tennessee Volunteers: The Vols packed in an additional 4 percent of its faithful into Neyland Stadium, increasing its average attendance to 99,754 this season.

No. 6, Alabama Crimson Tide: The Crimson Tide saw a small increase in the number of fans (101,534) attending games in Tuscaloosa.

No. 5, Penn State Nittany Lions: The average attendance in Happy Valley spiked 5 percent to 101,623.

No. 4, LSU Tigers: The LSU Tigers saw a jump of 11 percent increase in attendance (101,723) in Baton Rouge.

No. 2, Texas A&M Aggies: The Aggies added seating to Kyle Field and raised the average attendance in College Station, Texas, to 105,123 fans per game this season.

No. 1, Ohio State Buckeyes: Ohio State has a shot at the national title. But in 2014 it took the attendance title with an average of 106,296 fans in attendance at home games in Columbus.
