Georgia Tech linebacker Charlie Thomas’ standout play against South Florida on Saturday was recognized Monday by the ACC, which named him the conference’s linebacker of the week.

The sophomore from Thomasville tied his career high with nine tackles and set career highs with two sacks, two tackles for loss and a force fumble against the Bulls in Tech’s 14-10 win at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Tech’s nine tackles for loss were the most by the Jackets against an FBS opponent since 2016.
