The ACC postponed its virtual preseason media days “until further notice.”

Offering another possible signal that college football’s leadership knows games won’t be played this calendar year, the ACC on Monday delayed indefinitely the ACC Football Kickoff, the event that annually signals that college football is near. The Kickoff is when ACC coaches and select players meet the media. The conference announced last month that the event, which was first scheduled for July 21-23 in Charlotte, was moved to online only.

In the news release announcing the postponement, the league said that, “Any future decisions and announcements will take place at the appropriate time.”

The SEC, which also announced earlier that its annual media days would take place online only, was to hold its media event this week at the College Football Hall of Fame. The SEC has offered no timetable on the event.
