Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said his team “whipped” Georgia right after the Tigers won 40-17 on November 11.

But the Bulldogs won the rematch Saturday in the SEC Championship Game Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, prevailing 28-7.

After the game, Malzahn and Auburn had nothing but praise for Georgia.
