Linebacker Edwin Jackson

“This is my favorite play because the strong safety, the Mike (middle) and the Will (weakside) ’backers are blitzing at the same time right down the middle. The Mike ’backer, which is me, is going straight head up with the center, which allows the safety and the Will free access through both gaps to attack the quarterback and the running back. If he chooses to attack the strong safety or the Will ’backer, the middle ’backer — me — will be able to tackle the quarterback or the running back in the backfield.”
