The Yellow Jackets are coming off a season that ended with a 7-6 record and the departure of coach Paul Johnson after 11 seasons on The Flats. Collins, a former Tech assistant, has come from Temple and brought creative touches to promoting a building a program. The first public display on the field comes Friday with the annual spring game.
The game will consist of four 12-minute quarters, with a few special touches. There will be no kickoffs, punts, field goals or point-after tries. Teams must go for it on fourth down. A turnover on downs will result in the opposing team taking possession where the previous drive ended, and teams must try for a two-point conversion after all touchdowns.
