In a press release, Chick-fil-A announced that Chuck Smith, former Falcon and Tennessee defensive end, will serve as Tennessee's honorary captain for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game Sept. 4. This was a change from this morning's press release that said Al Wilson would be the honorary captain for Tennessee.

Smith was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 1992 NFL Draft. Smith spent eight seasons in Atlanta, earning an All-Pro selection in 1997 and being a captain for Atlanta in Super Bowl XXXIII.

The game is at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and kickoff is set for 8 p.m.
