Cat on the field pauses Braves, Marlins game

Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon (9) attempts to catch a cat that wandered onto the field during the fifth inning of a baseball game against the Atlanta Braves, Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in Miami.
The Miami Marlins definitely got the memo about Tuesday being National Pet Day.
During the Marlins’ game against the Atlanta Braves, a cat roamed onto the field, stopping play for several minutes.
The cat ran from the outfield to the warning track and eventually scaled the outfield wall and the Marlins’ home run sculpture.
Named the “Rally Cat” by the Marlins’ Twitter page, the cat was rescued, but then ran away again.
Update: Upon being rescued safely, #RallyCat’s elusiveness persisted, and it again ran away – this time into the night. Rally on, #RallyCat! pic.twitter.com/ZbkgDpdbjr
