How the winning run scored: Shaking off an extended slump, Ernesto Mejia led off the ninth with a home run off Sam Dremel to lead Gwinnett to its second straight win in Mossic, Pa. Enduring an 0-for-26 skid, Mejias has two homers and two doubles in his last four games while going 6-for-12.

At the plate: Jason Heyward, in his fourth start of his rehab assignment, hit a two-out double in the third for an early 1-0 lead. He finished 1-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout and is hitting .214.

On the mound: Starter Yohan Flande allowed two runs before the bullpen provided three innings of hitless relief. Closer Cory Rasmus converted his fifth save and dropped his ERA to 1.00.

What's next of the G-Braves: Gwinnett opens a four-game series Tuesday at Pawtucket, Braves LH Sean Gilmartin (2-1, 2.70) facing RH Allen Webster (1-0, 2.70). Gwinnett was swept in a four-game series with the Red Sox last week at Coolray Field. First pitch is 7:05 p.m.
